A 10:1 student faculty ratio assures attentiveness and personal care to each of our students and accentuates our nurturing environment. Our comprehensive program is designed to develop students’ creative thinking skills and promotes a desire for excellence in all disciplines. Within the classroom, our teachers strive to help each student reach their optimal potential in every way. Our staff incorporates learning standards, technology, and a variety of classroom strategies to engage students during instruction, teaching all subjects from a Biblical perspective.
TCA offers a variety of specials and additional activities that enhance our program. Physical education classes include reinforcement of athletic skills, with various sports clubs offered based on interest. Our music program features classroom instruction, chorus, band, and biannual concerts or plays. Students explore different artistic mediums through our art classes, and weekly visits to our library allow students to access books for assignments, projects, or leisure reading.
Other events TCA has participated in include Speech Meets, NYSSMA All County and Area All State Band and Chorus, and the Carnegie Hall Linked Up Program, and giving mini concerts at local assisted living facilities. Individual classes have enjoyed field trips to historic sites, museums, and state parks, preserves, or trails.
